The Undesigned Presents: Embrace The Culture

Branding, Fashion, Galleryon August 15th, 2010No Comments

The Undesigned presents Embrace the Culture

Collaboration is a recursive process where two or more people or organizations work together in an intersection of common goals — for example, an intellectual endeavor that is creative in nature—by sharing knowledge, learning and building consensus.

Our knowledge? We are infinite beings capable of far more than our current worldview offers and we have every ability to change the world around us for the better, starting with intention. Nothing in this world happens without it, nor will it ever. Not only is intention effortless, but when matched with positive energy, nothing is impossible.

Our consencus? Inspire to no end. Live infinitely, love infinitely, and seek to inspire those around you into doing the same thing.

Peace is possible.

Since the birth of The Undesigned at the turn of new year, we have been effortlessly attempting to put forth new business practices, stressing that it is in fact collaboration, not competition, that drives the world of successful business and positive relations.

It is this act of creatively collaborating that brings us to our current release. Over the past several months, we’ve had the opportunity to become friends and grow closer to the infamous Rosco Flevo and his illustrious fashion apparel company, Embrace the Culture. Rosco brought to us a lot of incite concerning the spread of positive energy and culture through art and fashion, implementing strong messages or ‘Statements’ that he chose to make his own set of universal ‘Truths’ in his work. His trust in us as a creative duo created a strong sense of companionship between the two endeavors and plans to collaborate were set in motion.

On behalf of myself The Undesigned and Embrace the Culture, we are proud to present to you a completely rebranded image for an eager company looking to incite much inspiration across the globe.

Take the time to look around, there’s much to become aware of.

Peace & Positive Energy [Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists.]

Enjoy

Apparel Collaborations

Available exclusively through Embrace the Culture, The Undesigned presents a *LIMITED EDITION* collaboration tee.

“The essence of this resounds through this particular tee. A dear friend of mine said it best “ Embrace TheCulture is creating an environment of sharing and collaboration with the idea that if people work together harmoniously, the end result is often far more fruitful than otherwise.”- Philip Soriano (Hugh & Crye). The proof is in the pudding. The idea of the shirt is simple “ to be infinitely and ever changing”. We hope you enjoy the tee, expect tons of great things to come from these boys”. – Rosco Flevo

Printed on the inside of the neck, you will find printed ‘Nothing real can be threatened, nothing unreal exists’

The second collaboration features a photograph of model Ali Benetti that Gage captured earlier this season in preparation for this release.

Both ‘Love is Blind’ and The Undesigned collab tee are available for purchase here:

A teaser cut for to hype today’s release using some footage we had laying around from an earlier ETC shoot with the lovely Ali Benetti.

Official Embrace the Culture Commercial Release

The Undesigned presents a commercial directed by Alex Purifoy for Embrace the Culture.

Greetings world!

Earlier this year Gage and I came together with apparel company Embrace the Culture and director Alex Purifoy in hopes of capturing a moment of light to relate our combined vision of inspiration. The ETC trio summoned our creative direction and through a series of meetings and getting to know each other both personally and on a business level, a step was taken in the direction of filming a high definition commercial in order to hype the release of the brand’s new summer line of apparel, upon many other exciting things for the company.

Captured on a Red One camera, the commercial seeks to capture an enlightening meeting of two characters amongst a world of chinese lanterns representative of the energy that surrounds us as light. As each approaches from opposite sides or realities, each touches the lanterns, seeking through intuition the other in the room. As the two meet, their energy is transferred causing a supernova of sorts. We then see a revealed group of individuals who once took form as the lanterns, but now stand firmly in their own right, representing the apparel of Embrace the Culture.

The piece features Brennan Taulbee, our close friend and vocalist of Oceana, as well as the ever so lovely Kayte Abell. The music was written and recorded by Maxwell Stevens of Nidus Expire at Clark Street Studios. You will have the opportunity to check out a more complete version of this song later this year on the second coming EP, ‘Many Hands’.

Upon completion of the shoot, all the footage was rendered and brought to Domino Effect studios were Marcus ‘MKutta’ Small arranged the shots into three separate cuts, one being the 38 second release you see here, another being a shorter 15 second cut, and a third 1 minute extended version which will be released soon. A huge shoutout and thanks to Marcus and everyone at Domino Effect!

We will be posting further updates on our collaboration with Embrace the Culture as the month continues, including an entire catalog of product and lifestyle photographs, a new website, and a special collaboration we have yet to announce. Stay tuned.

A huge thank you to all who helped in making this possible. A lot of hard work was put into this project and it was all greatly appreciated, we hope you can enjoy it.

Peace & Positive Energy to all
